First Time Entry for the GPS Navigation to iPod Touch

G-Fi mobile network with Navmii software, can now provide turn-by-turn navigation in iPod Touch. Thus, with an addition of Navmii software, iPod Touch could be used for satellite navigation purpose. Of more interest to the users, features such as interactive maps, smart routing and spoken directions are possible with it.

G-Fi streams GPS signals to iPod Touch, which is been processed by Navmii software to provide the accurate routing. Both Navmii software and G-Fi could be obtained for a single charge with no additional or monthly charges. Another appealing fact of this is that the GPS from one G-Fi can support up to 200 Apple devices simultaneously when in range. Thus, it allows network multiplayer gaming and data sharing between Apple devices.

This new development could be said as the one that was awaited for long by many iPod Touch owners. Navmii claims this to be a secure personal navigation. Possibly, this new development could pose a threat to the stand alone sat nav devices, since the addition of a simple functionality can make iPod ready for navigation. Navmii app is now available from Apple iTunes App Store.
