Clarion MAP 670 Car GPS is equipped with a 4.3 inches touch control wide-screen display. This display provides a brilliant view of images and routes. Besides, the anti-reflective feature makes it usable under any lighting condition. The maps loaded in it are that of UK and Ireland. Major roads of Europe are included as well. The user can choose between the 2D or 3D view of the map depending on his convenience. There is an auto-zoom function that enables the user to have a closer look of the routes. The destination search is by the entry of UK’s postal code.

The processor employed in Clarion MAP 670 Portable GPS Navigation System is that of 400MHz, which facilitates faster route calculation. There is a built-in TMC traffic congestion receiver in it to alert the user about the traffic situations of the place. But this requires a license subscription for UK use. The bluetooth wireless technology with built-in microphone allows the user to make calls handsfree.

Furthermore, Clarion MAP 670 comes with MP3 player for the entertainment purpose. There is a built-in loudspeaker for this sat nav that provides crisp and clear voice output. The users can even make use of the headphone socket for a personal listening experience. This GPS system will display the ID track, the artist and the album name while playing the track. There is a provision to exhibit digital photos as well.

The addition of more maps, TMC enhancement packs, MP3 files and digital picture loading to this Clarion sat nav could be done via the SD card reader. For the connectivity with other devices, a USB port is enabled in the device. It has a rechargeable battery, which extends for a time of 4.5 hours on a single charge. The battery charging is also enabled via the USB port.
