Clarion MAP690 Portable Navigation System has a 4.3 inches non-reflective LCD display. This GPS system comes equipped with a SiRF III, 20 channel GPS receiver and a 400 MHz CPU. There is an in-built RDS-TMC tuner for traffic information. Other features include a 2GB flash memory, an SD card slot that can accommodate up to 8GB memory card, bluetooth enabled and a Lithium ion battery.
Clarion MAP690 Navigation comes pre-loaded with the maps of Eastern Europe. The maps, landmarks and terrains can be viewed in 3D perspective. The destination search is enabled through the input of postal codes of the places.
Its voice guidance can be set to be delivered in any of the 38 languages provided. The lane guidance and the realistic sign posts are the other assets with this Clarion GPS System. There is a rich Points-of-interests database loaded into this Clarion MAP690 that aids the user to navigate to the nearest place of interest such as hotels, restaurants, ATMs and so on. It is speed camera compatible as well.
