Children tend to roam about to explore things around them. How much ever we scold they keep playing and the worst case is they getting lost. To find them is really a big pain to parents. Probably, this gadget is designed to make parents stay aware of where actually their children are.
LOK8U NUM 8 is a wrist watch that comes in three attractive colors viz blue, black and pink. The kit holds an AC Wall Charger Adapter, cable and a docking cradle. The docking cradle is made magnetic to snap together NUM8 with the cradle for charging. A red light indicates user the charging of the watch while a green light indicates, the watch has been charged completely.
Once the watch is put on your child’s wrists, it cannot be removed without a release tool. The releasing tool can be placed on the base of the charging dock when not in use. The display of NUM8 is visible under optimal lighting conditions but becomes more challenging under bright lighting conditions. The most attractive feature of LOK8U NUM 8 wrist watch is you simply send a message via cell phone or via Lok8u’s web portal to locate the device. Kids really love to wear because of its look and feel.
Unfortunately, the device itself has got some demerits as listed below.
- Battery life is poor, as it gives only 3 hours when few locate request were sent.
- No panic buttons
- Rarely works indoor
- Consumes 10 hours to charge completely
- Display screen is dim, making it hard to read.
Reports say that though the device equips pros, the sensible cons make it not recommendable to parents.
