IWM releases Iran GPS Map update

Iranian digital map provider IWM released their latest database that includes more than 40000 new POI (Point Of Interest). The company released also new GPS map for Iran with corrections and more cities.

Iran GPS map features voice guidance and instructions in English and Persian (Farsi).
The company also publishes its GPS map activities daily on IranGPSmap web site.

NAVIGON 2510 Explorer

The NAVIGON 2510 Explorer is a navigation device for the car and on foot. It will not only get you from A to B also gives you many functions like Pedestrian navigation, NAVIGON MyBest POI, NAVIGON Sightseeing and NAVIGON Last Mile.

NAVIGON 2510 Explorer has a .5″ touchscreen in 4:3 format display and 64 MB RAM. It has a dimensions of 96,5 mm x 72 mm x 14,5 mm and Weight 122 g.

It comes with pre-installed maps of Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, United Kingdom, Iceland, Ireland , Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Vatican as standard.

NAVIGON 2510 Explorer uses 800 mAh Lithium battery and runs on Microsoft Windows CE.

Garmin Asus nuvifone A50

Garmin in one hit created a all-in-one smartphone, Nuvifone M10, and now they do another one the Garmin-Asus, Nuvifone A50 which is slimmer compared to G60.
The Garmin Nuvifone A50, is powered by Android and comes with 4GB built in memory, 3 megapixel camera and microSD expansion card slot. The front screen controls are touch sensitive designed with a view to withdraw pressure from the user when the device is placed on the car dock.


The home screen, instead of a usual panel style, offers three magnanimous buttons to dial a call, navigate to destination and see where you are on the map. On the right placed is a column of applications which can be customized by the user to display the ones that is been used most frequently. The shortcut column remains visible while on home screen and main menu so as to have access to frequently used applications anywhere.
