Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 Satellite Navigator

Blaupunkt has introduced an entry level GPS device; the Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 Satellite Navigator that uses the company’s own navigational software. These new GPS units come with improved points of interest and a facility to import police radar information.
Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with a 3.5-inch touch screen display that has a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It runs on a Windows CE 5.0 platform powered by a Centrality Atlas III dual core processor that is clocked at 400MHz.

It includes a 1GB integrated ROM memory; this memory capacity can be increased up-to 8GB using SD or MMC memory cards. Its rechargeable battery comes with a total battery life of only 3 hours. The sat nav comes with an internal in-built antenna that is integrated with a Centrality Atlas III GPS receiver. It uses the Blaupunkt navigation software for routing purposes. It has a total dimension of 99×99×16.9 mm and a weight of 175 grams.

The Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 Satellite Navigator comes with the maps of UK and Ireland. The user is provided with an option of searching for an address with the postcode, house number, street name etc. In case you misspell an city or street name the device offers you alternative spellings. The maps are displayed in 2D and 3D formats along with arrows, symbols and automatic junction zoom. It provides detailed information of the distance to the next junction, the total journey time, estimated time of arrival, speed etc. This sat nav also provides regular voice directions for an upcoming turn. It alerts you about the maximum speed limit set for a region. It can calculate the shortest route, quickest route, ecological as well as economical route. It offers you the facility of avoid certain kinds of route for example toll junctions, ferry etc. This sat nav also informs you about the traffic jams occurring en-route to your destination. It can save about 20 last visited destinations, along with around 8 favourites.

The Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 Entry-Level Satellite Navigator comes with an anti-theft protection option. You can set up a PIN for your device to restrict unauthorised access. This Blaupunkt satellite navigator includes an instruction booklet, a digital map content, a cigarette lighter charge cable, a mounting material along with a suction mount.
