{"id":624,"date":"2009-01-09T00:59:20","date_gmt":"2009-01-09T04:59:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iranmap.com\/?p=624"},"modified":"2015-02-24T08:59:12","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T08:59:12","slug":"sony-to-launch-a-range-of-gps-enabled-camcorder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.iranmap.com\/i\/sony-to-launch-a-range-of-gps-enabled-camcorder\/","title":{"rendered":"Sony to launch a range of GPS-enabled camcorder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\nToday at the CES trade show in Las Vegas, Sony unveiled a range of new camcorders (Sony HDR-XR520V, HDR-XR500V, HDR-XR200V) featuring a built-in GPS and map data from NAVTEQ.<br \/>\nAll three devices offer full HD video recording as well as 12-megapixel still image capture and 240 GB hard drive for the HDR-XR520V priced at $1,500; 120 GB and 12-megapixel for the HDR-XR500V ($1300); 120GB and 4- megapixel for the HDR-XR200V ($1,000). <\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iranmap.com\/images\/gps\/SonyGPSCamcorderhdrxr520v.jpg\" alt=\"Sony HDR-XR series with Built in GPS Maps\" \/>\n<\/p>\n<p>Photos and videos are geo-tagged with the GPS and the NAVTEQ Map data is used to display the locations of the shoots on a map. Additionally, the map can be browsed to find and open pictures and videos. The NAVTEQ map data comprises North America, Western and Central Europe and several Asian countries.
