{"id":7744,"date":"2009-03-06T15:01:22","date_gmt":"2009-03-06T15:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iranmap.com\/i\/?p=7744"},"modified":"2015-03-05T10:02:41","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T10:02:41","slug":"clarion-map-690-and-clarion-map-790","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.iranmap.com\/i\/clarion-map-690-and-clarion-map-790\/","title":{"rendered":"Clarion MAP 690 and Clarion MAP 790"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\nAt CeBIT trade show which is taking place this moment in Germany, Clarion presented two new portable GPS navigation systems: the Clarion MAP 690 and Clarion MAP 790.<\/p>\n<p>Both devices use the iGO My Way 8 navigation software which is capable of showing certain buildings and monuments in 3D, altitudes, realistic looking road signs, and posted speed limits.<\/p>\n<p>Other features include text-to-speech to pronounce street names, and lane assistance to help you out on freeways.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iranmap.com\/images\/gps\/clarion-map790.jpg\" alt=\"Clarion MAP 690 and Clarion MAP 790\" \/>\n<\/p>\n<p>Clarion MAP 690 and Clarion MAP 790 will also include an RDS\/TMC receiver for traffic updates but we\u2019ll have to wait and see if this will cost extra. <\/p>\n<p>Both GPS navigation systems have a 4.3\u2033 touch screen with 480\u00d7272 pixel (WQVGA) resolution, SiRF III GPS receiver chip, a handsfree Bluetooth kit, all of which are controlled by the 400 MHz processor.
