At the event attended by a number of Iranian and Azerbaijani literary figures, artists and poets, Khayyam&#8217;s quatrains were introduced as artistic and literary masterpiece.<\/p>\n<p>Baku was nominated as the Islamic world&#8217;s cultural capital by Organization of Islamic Conference in 2009.
