Garmin Foretrex 101 Wrist-Watch Satellite Navigator comes with a dimension of 8.4 x 4.3 x 2.3 cm and weighs about 78 grams. It comes with a display size of 1.4×0.92- inches and a screen resolution of 100×64 pixels. It runs on 2 AAA batteries and has a total battery life of about 15 hours. The device’s internal antenna is integrated with a 12-parallel channel GPS receiver that can continuously track and use up-to 12 satellite to update your exact position with a few minutes. The Foretrex 101 portrays a GPS accuracy of a maximum of 15 meters in the GPS mode and a maximum of 3 meters in the WAAS enabled mode.

It gives you position in Latitude and Longitude format. This device bears a IEC 60529 IPX7 waterproof standard, which means that it can be submerged in shallow water for about 30 minutes. It also works well in salty water, however you will need to rinse the screen well after removing it from salt water. It also provides you with a Hunt and Fish calender along with Sun and Moon information. The Foretrex 101 includes a wrist expansion strap, an owner’s manual and a quick start-up guide.
