The Garmin GPSMap 76 Hiking/Marine Satellite Navigator; the successor of Garmin GPS 76, is a marine friendly GPS unit that comes with a European basemap and many other outstanding features. This GPS device can be used on land as well as in water. Basically it is defined as the perfect navigational unit for hiking and marine adventures. This sat nav measures 6.2 inches in height, 2.7 inches in width and 1.2 inches in depth and has a weight of 7.7 ounces. For starting up this unit requires only 15 seconds. This device comes with an internal built-in antenna that is integrated with a 12-channel receiver. It’s WAAS compatibility ensures the accuracy of its information.

This sat nav comes with a 2.7-inch LCD display. The screen comes with a resolution of 180 x 240 pixels. It is powered by 2xAA batteries that come with a long battery life of around 16 hours. It comes with a serial interface for easy connection with the computer.
