The Airis T940E Satellite Navigator is an entry level navigational device that provides accurate routing assistance and gets you from A to B easily and quickly. It measures 138 x 86 x 21.9 mm in dimensions and weighs about 210 grams. The Airis T940E In-Car Satellite Navigator works on the Windows CE .Net 5.0 operating system and is powered by a Samsung S3C2440 processor that is clocked at 400MHz.

All the navigational instructions can be viewed on the device’s 4.3-inch touch screen display that offers a 480 x 272 pixel resolution. It supports around 65000 colours. It is equipped with a 64MB SDRAM and a 1GB flash ROM memory. The unit includes a slot for connecting external SD or MMC memory cards for augmenting the internal memory capacity.

Airis T940E Satellite Navigator comes preloaded with the maps of Europe on a 2GB SD card. Route66 navigational software provides accurate routing assistance. The device comes with an internal antenna that is integrated with a SiRF Star III GPS receiver. Its other interfaces includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB port. The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery that offers a total battery life of 8 hours.

The Airis T940E Hand-held Satellite Navigator comes with Bluetooth compatibility that enables a user to make and receive hands free calls. Also data and information can be transferred between similar devices over a short range via the Bluetooth functionality. This unit is currently priced at €159 and brings along a USB cable, a car holder, a car charger, necessary software and an instruction manual.
