It works on Windows CE .Net 4.2 Core operating system that is run by the Samsung S3C2440 processor clocked at 400MHz. The Mio Digiwalker H610 In-Car Satellite Navigator includes a 64MB RAM and 2GB ROM memory and an external memory slot for augmenting the in-built memory. All the navigational data is displayed on the device’s 2.7-inch TFT 240×320 pixels touch screen display. It comes with a dimension of 22 x 60 x 87 mm and weighs about 166 grams.
Mio Digiwalker H610 Satellite Navigator comes preloaded with the maps of 24 European countries and numerous points of interests. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that offers about 4.5 hours of battery life. Navigational guidance is provided via Mio’s own MioMap V3 software, which is backed by a SiRFstarIII GPS receiver for accurate and fast detection of signals. For entertainment purposes the MioPlayer software has been incorporated in the system. This software is compatible with the commonly used music and video files formats, thereby enabling you to be entertained while on the go.
The Mio Digiwalker H610 Hand-Held Satellite Navigator is equipped with interchangeable panels, thus you can give the unit a personalised look to match your style and mood. Its ultra-portable sat nav can be used in both driving as well as pedestrian modes. This is considered to be a decent GPS unit with simple multimedia features, the only drawback probably being the lack of Text-to-Speech functionality.
