Mio Launches Budget Friendly PNDs
Mio recently launched two GPS systems that are expected to go easy on the consumer’s pockets. Known as the Mio Moov M300 and M400, these two apparently include a few similar features like the text-to-speech functionality, lane guidance, spoken street names, keyword search, 4 million points of interests and pre-installed maps of 50 states of US and Puerto Rico.

Another similarity is that both the units are stated to include Mio’s NavPix photo navigation, which can be used to navigate from geo-tagged photos. Also theses two units apparently run on the Windows CE 5.0 platform and are said to include MioMap and TeleAtlas Maps software.
The distinguishing factor is however the screen size of the units; while the M300 features a 3.5-inch touch screen LCD monitor the M400 sports a 4.3-inch touch screen LCD monitor. Both the units are expected to start shipping this month. The Mio Moov M300 is expected to cost $119.99 while the M400 will be available at $149.99.
