This sat nav has a slot for inserting external SD memory cards. It comes with an internal in-built antenna that is integrated with a high sensitivity SiRFstarIII GPS receiver. This GPS receiver provides your location quickly and correctly whether it is indoors or outdoors. It provides better reception even in areas that have tall buildings.

The Mio Pharos Drive 120 Portable GPS System uses the Windows Mobile-based Pharos Traveller GPS 505 software that provides prompt voice directions along with accurate route guidance. It comes with a 512MB SD card preloaded with UK maps. The maps of an additional 23 European countries are included on a CD that is supplied with the device. The maps can be viewed either in two dimensional or 3 dimensional modes. You can search for an address using the postcode, suburb or store the addresses in the favourites menu. It can calculate the fastest, shortest and a no motorway route. You can choose one of your choice. It includes many points of interests that is distributed under various categories such as cash, fuel, hotels etc. making it convenient for you to choose accordingly. This GPS unit comes with internal speaker that are used to provide timely voice instructions. With regular voice prompts you can concentrate on the road better whilst navigating.
